When one visits Chinatown, there are just some resturants that one has to stop by and experience first hand. "69" is a small resturant with room for no more than 8 tables, which are serviced by 6 friendly men that one would call "a-sook," or uncle in Chinese. Located right off the heart and tourist central of Mott Street, 69 has had a reputation no only for its wonderful service and large dishes that are easy on ones wallet, but the resturant is amazingly unique in that the walls are covered with dollar bills from its costumers. The walls, ceilings, and sometimes even its furiture are covered with dollar bills which have little notes or tags written on them. Looking around the room one can see all the fraternities that have left their mark, the British tourists which scribble on a pound note instead, and of course high school students bragging about how their school is better than all others.
I like a lot the atmosphere of this image!
